Noosa Hearing was established in Noosa, by a local. Our staff live locally and we’re part of the Noosa community.
With so many choices and hearing aid outlets available, one thing stands out to us. The concerning fact that almost all hearing clinics in the Noosa region are owned and operated by international hearing aid manufacturers.
We are different. We are truly independent.
Retail chain stores are becoming ingrained in many health industries. Certainly, Audiology is no exception. There are many reasons why we think choosing an independent Audiologist is better for your hearing.
No part of our practice is owned or governed by any other entity. We’re not a franchise or retail chain store claiming to be independent.

Deidré Breytenbach established Noosa Hearing. She embarked on the independent practice journey in 2020 and invested in state-of-the-art hearing health technology to assert Noosa Hearing’s position at the forefront of Audiology.
There is no higher level manager or CEO. Our clients are our priority.

To be a genuinely patient centred practice we must also provide the best hearing health care in Noosa. We must recommend what is best for our clients, without restrictions imposed by corporate or franchise models. We must also remain at the forefront of new hearing technologies and model our hearing care on modern, advanced clincial standards.

Our hearing clinic is hearing health focused. Although hearing aids are an important part of what we do, we’re not a “retail first” clinic. We will therefore continue to actively seek out and provide the highest quality hearing solutions. This will support our mission to provide the best possible hearing, for the longest possible time.

Deidré Breytenbach
Principal Audiologist, B.CommPath (Speech & Audio) M.CommPath AAudA
Deidré is an experienced, university trained Audiologist. With over 10 years in the hearing health care profession, across 3 countries, Deidré can draw from great experience. She has a wide range of hearing health interests including adult and paediatric hearing, tinnitus assessments and management, adult hearing rehabilitation and hearing aid technology.
In addition to her 4 years honours degree, Deidré has completed a master’s degree in Audiology. She is also a member of Audiology Australia which requires her to follow a strict code of ethics and ongoing professional development.
