A hearing aid is only as good as its battery. That’s why we supply premium Power One batteries, made in Germany. They are an extremely long-life battery and combine the highest quality and reliability.
Why premium cells?
Premium quality cells provide a longer service life, with a guaranteed high cell voltage. This makes frequent cell changing redundant and provides the best sound. Stainless steel housing provides high-level stability and safe protection against corrosion. Cells are tested prior to distribution, so you can also expect consistent, reliable results.
With such small batteries, handling them can be difficult. Not so with premium cells. The supplied extra long tabs facilitate removal of the cell from the packaging and insertion into the hearing aid.
Battery storage and handling
The best temperature for storing Power One batteries is between 10 and 30 degrees in a dry, dark place in the original packaging. Used batteries should also be stored this way, in the blister.
Never store batteries loose. Do not store them in the refrigerator or expose the batteries to temperatures above 50 degrees (such as in a closed car in the sun). Also, do not bend the packaging, as this may damage the seal.
When you handle your hearing aid batteries, only hold the battery by the tab. Your natural skin oils will inhibit the conductivity of the battery. Also, never allow the battery to come into contact with metal objects. This may result in them short circuiting and will also reduce their performance.
